Ray Flowers, Founder & Master Plumber

Ray Flowers

Founder & Master Plumber

38 YEARS IN THE TRADE

Ray started as an apprentice in Freeport in 1987 and opened Flow's in 2004 with a van and a landline. He still runs calls three days a week, mostly because Denise cannot talk him out of it. If you get Ray on a sewer job, you are getting the person who has seen the most bad pipe on Long Island.

Mike Flowers, Operations Manager

Mike Flowers

Operations Manager

16 YEARS IN THE TRADE

Ray's son, and the reason jobs actually start when we said they would. Mike schedules the trucks, quotes the bigger renovations and handles anything involving a permit. He is the person to ask if you want a straight answer about what a job will really cost.

Tony Serrano, Lead Service Technician

Tony Serrano

Lead Service Technician

12 YEARS IN THE TRADE

Tony runs most of our emergency calls and has an unreasonable talent for finding leaks nobody else can locate. Homeowners regularly ask for him by name. He is patient with questions and will show you what he found rather than just telling you about it.

Denise Flowers, Office Manager

Denise Flowers

Office Manager

21 YEARS IN THE TRADE

The voice on the phone, and the one who decides how fast we get to you. Denise has been triaging Long Island plumbing emergencies since 2004 and can usually tell from your description whether you need a truck tonight or a Tuesday.

Why people keep us

Plain-Spoken, Careful, and Genuinely Pleasant to Have in the House.

Two decades of the same crew doing the same thing: turn up when we said, explain what we found, charge what we quoted. It is not complicated. It is just rare.

  • Same crew every visit
  • Flat price agreed at the door
  • Boots covered, debris out with us

Water heater went on a Sunday with a house full of family. Tony was here in an hour and a half, had the tank on the truck, and we had hot water before dinner. Priced it before he started and that was the price.

Two other companies quoted me for a full sewer replacement. Ray cameraed the line, showed me the footage, and said one joint was the problem. Spot repair, a third of the price. That is a rare thing.

We flooded twice before we called Flow’s. They put in a proper pit, a real pump and a battery backup, and then fixed the grading outside that nobody else had mentioned. Dry through the last two nor’easters.

Mike handled the plumbing for our whole kitchen renovation and was the only trade on the job who hit every date. He also caught a galvanized line in the wall that would have been a nightmare later.

How a job goes

No Surprises, in the Order They Happen.

The part homeowners dread about calling a plumber is not knowing what it will cost or who will turn up. Here is exactly how ours goes.

  1. 1

    You Call, A Person Answers

Denise or Mike picks up. You describe what it is doing, we tell you whether it needs a truck today or can wait until Tuesday.

  2. 2

We Find Out What Is Wrong

Camera down the line, pressure at the meter, whatever the job needs. We diagnose before we quote, not after.

  3. 3

You Get A Flat Price First

One number, agreed at the door, before any tool comes off the truck. If something turns up behind a wall, we stop and re-quote.

  4. 4

We Do The Work And Clean Up

Drop cloths go down before we start, and the mess leaves with us. If the job needs a permit, we file it and meet the inspector.

  5. 5

We Check The Rest For Free

Shutoffs, water pressure, heater, exposed lines. You hear what we found, and we never sell off the back of it.

The Questions We Get Asked Most.

Not covered here? Call and ask. We would rather spend five minutes on the phone than have you book something you do not need.

Call (111) 222-3333

Estimates for planned work — a water heater replacement, a renovation rough-in, a sewer line quote — are free. Diagnostic visits where we have to find the problem before we can price the fix carry a callout fee, and we credit that in full against the repair if you go ahead with us.

Quick quote

Tell Us What It Is Doing. We Will Tell You What It Costs.

Every request gets a real answer from a real plumber within one business day. Some jobs need us to come and look first — if yours does, we will say so rather than guessing at a number.
